During soft launch, the EVolution Hub offers free Ontario EV tools, My Garage (with optional sign-in), Amp, the public blog, Early Access waitlist signup, and dealer partner pages. Right-fit EV shortlists, lease scanning, and dealer quote marketplace features are not generally available on production yet. We do not sell your personal information.
Scope & Soft Launch
What this policy covers. This policy explains how the EVolution Hub, a product of Boolean Array Canada ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects personal information on theevolutionhub.com and related services.
Current product stage. Production is in soft launch. Live surfaces include free Ontario EV owner tools (including My Garage), the public blog, Amp (our on-site guide), Early Access waitlist signup, dealer partner landing pages, and account sign-in. Right-fit EV shortlists, vehicle compare/database browsing, lease document scanning, concierge, insurance estimator, and consumer quote / Deal Room features are not generally available on production and may appear only when we open them. When those features launch, this policy continues to apply and we may update it.
Information We Collect
Early Access waitlist. If you join Early Access, we collect the email address you submit, signup time, and basic anti-abuse signals (such as hashed IP address and user agent). Waitlist signup does not require a password or payment details.
Account & authentication. If you create or sign into a consumer account (email/password, magic link, or Google sign-in when enabled), we collect account identifiers and authentication-related data needed to keep you signed in. Apple sign-in may be offered when enabled. You may use many tools without an account; My Garage full features require sign-in.
Tools & My Garage. When you use calculators and planners, we process the inputs you enter (for example driving distance, rate plan, panel details, or vehicle notes) to show results in your session. If you are signed in to My Garage, we may store vehicles, Ontario rate plan preferences, trip and cost notes, reminders, documents you upload, favourite places, and related garage data so they persist across visits.
Community Rate Scout. If you report or confirm a public charging price on the GTA station map, we store the station id, posted rate details you submit, time of report, and a hashed network address for abuse prevention. You may contribute without an account. If you are signed in, we may link the report to your account so it can carry higher trust weight. We do not require photos for Rate Scout soft launch.
Amp (site guide). If you chat with Amp, we process your messages and relevant page context to answer navigation and Ontario product questions. Amp is a site guide, not a salesperson, and is not intended to collect payment or dealer-quote data.
Blog, contact & dealers. Contact forms may collect your name, email, and message. Dealer partner applications may collect business name, contact details, location, and related licensing or onboarding information. Public blog reading does not require an account. Optional glossary or FAQ suggestions you submit may include the text you send and contact details if you provide them.
Automatically collected data. We and our providers may collect device and usage data such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, referrer, and timestamps. When Google Analytics 4 is enabled, Google may process similar aggregate traffic data as described in Cookies & Tracking and our Cookie Policy.
Features not yet live on production. When right-fit EV shortlists, lease scanning, concierge, or dealer quote / lead flows become available, we may collect preferences, uploaded lease documents (processed as described at launch), and lead contact details you choose to submit. Those features are not live on soft-launch production today.
How We Use Your Information
Operate soft-launch services. We use your information to run Early Access notifications, authenticate accounts, power tools and My Garage, operate Community Rate Scout and Amp, publish the blog experience, respond to contact and dealer inquiries, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
Improve the product. We use aggregated or de-identified usage patterns to improve calculators, guides, Amp answers, site performance, and future right-fit EV experiences. Individual personal information is not sold.
Communications. We send service-related messages (for example Early Access updates, magic-link sign-in, or account notices). Marketing or product announcements related to Early Access use the email you provided for that purpose. You may ask us to stop non-essential marketing by contacting us.
Future dealer connections. We do not share Early Access waitlist emails with dealers. When quote or lead features launch, contact details are shared with dealers only after you take an explicit action (such as submitting a lead or quote request) and consent to be contacted.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
No sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers. We use trusted providers to operate the Platform, including infrastructure and auth (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), payment processing for dealer subscriptions when applicable (Stripe), Google for optional sign-in and Analytics when enabled, and AI providers used to power Amp and internal editorial tools. Providers process data under contracts and applicable law, only as needed to provide their services to us.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Boolean Array Canada, our users, or the public.
Data Retention
Early Access. Waitlist emails are retained until you ask us to remove them, you convert into a product experience that supersedes the waitlist record, or we no longer need them for launch communications and anti-abuse.
Accounts & My Garage. Account preferences and garage data are retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, account-owned data is erased or anonymized as described in Account Settings, subject to records we must keep for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Dealer accounts. Dealer account and billing records are retained for the subscription period plus a reasonable period afterward to satisfy financial and contractual record-keeping.
Your Rights
Access, correction & deletion. You may update profile information where Account Settings are available, request access to personal information we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it by contacting privacy@theevolutionhub.com or the contact email below. Where portable export is offered in-product, you may download a copy of your account data from Account Settings.
Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA). As a product of Boolean Array Canada, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You may withdraw consent for non-essential processing, subject to legal or contractual limits and what we need to provide services you still request.
GDPR (EU residents). If you are in the EU/EEA, you may have additional rights under GDPR, including restriction of processing, objection, and lodging a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Security
Technical safeguards. We use industry-standard protections such as encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and database security policies appropriate to our stack. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Incident response. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected users and authorities as required by applicable law.
Cookies & Tracking
Essential cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies required for security, authentication sessions, and basic site function. Disabling them may break sign-in or protected features.
Analytics. When Google Analytics 4 is enabled via our configuration, we and Google may collect aggregate usage data (pages viewed, referrers, approximate geography). Details and choices are in our Cookie Policy. We do not sell personal information.
